The second batch of Call 5 projects get green light!
We are happy to announce that the Steering Committee, made up of representatives from all our partner regions, has selected the next group of Call 5 projects on 11 March 2026. These projects submitted their full applications in cut-off moment 3.
Call 5 is an ongoing call with several cut-off moments. After each cut-off, we review all project applications. The Call 5 application process has two steps: First, project teams send their project idea (Step 1). If the idea is approved, they can send their full application (Step 2).
Cut-off moment 3 was the second time teams could send in their full application. Six new projects were approved, bringing the total number in Call 5 to twelve. These six teams can now start to turn their ideas into reality. Their plans will help make the Meuse-Rhine region smarter, more sustainable, and more social. The projects focus on topics such as renewable energy, adapting to climate change, circular economy, education, digital competitiveness, and technological independence.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal! We wish you lots of success as you begin your projects.

Together, we are building a cross-border region full of opportunities and innovation.
