INSCAN Lite

Developing the crops and agro chemicals of the future still relies on technology of the past. In this project, INPERFEKTION and PHENOSPEX attempt to change the way how plant research is conducted in many companies around the globe. We will jointly develop a modular plant phenotyping system able to fit into the majority of greenhouse and climate chambers, at a fraction of the current costs of such systems. INSCAN Lite will be as easy to integrate and yet as customized to the needs of the client just as an IKEA kitchen. Phenospex will contribute its PlantEye sensor technology and HortControl data processing infrastructure, alongside user interface design. INperfektion will handle the design, programming, and production of the automation system, focusing on modularity, standardization, and safety.
