REAL Project Gains Momentum at Second Partner Meeting in Hasselt

Great momentum was seen today at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts during the second partner meeting of the REAL project.

Bringing together 11 partners from across the Meuse-Rhine region, the meeting highlighted a growing shared ambition: accelerating the transition toward Industry 5.0 through collaboration, innovation, and a human-centric approach.

Moving from alignment to action, partners strengthened their common foundation built on impact, professionalism, and co-creation. Through hands-on workshops and exchanges, the focus shifted clearly from planning to implementation.

Key next steps include engaging SMEs across regions, identifying challenges in sustainability, digitalisation and cybersecurity, developing the REAL Compass and practical toolkits, and mapping technologies that support SME transformation.

All efforts contribute to a broader goal: delivering tangible impact for SMEs and building a strong cross-border innovation ecosystem.

Special thanks were extended to the Interreg Meuse-Rhine team for their presence and professional training session.

The partnership now looks ahead to continued collaboration and the next phases of the project.
