SHELLWEPRINT: Innovative Use of Eggshells in Modular 3D-Printed Objects for Circular and Nature-positive Urban Greenery

SHELLWEPRINT aims to develop and validate a cross-border value chain that transforms locally sourced eggshell waste into high-value 3D-printed urban greening products. By combining EGGXPERT's material innovations, Layer Performance's advanced additive manufacturing technology and BAU-Regain's circular design expertise, the project will deliver modular planters, seating and façade-greening elements. The intended results include technically validated, weather-resistant products, successful outdoor pilot installations, demonstrated environmental and commercial value, and a scalable business model that supports circular manufacturing, urban biodiversity and regional economic growth.
