Call 5: 19 Powering up 19 projects

Call 5 has been very successful: 19 projects were selected to work on shared challenges across the Meuse-Rhine region. Their work ranges from healthcare and training to clean energy, climate action, and new technology.

The projects are at different stages. The descriptions below explain what they are working towards; they are not all completed results.

Research and new technology

LivLabPRoFruit is helping fruit growers explore technologies such as precision tools and robots.
REAL is helping small manufacturers adapt to new technology and more people-focused ways of working.
ETCETERA is developing shared digital tools and infrastructure for data processing.
remoteAID is developing a system for remote medical care across borders, including during emergencies.
ShuttleToBrain is developing a new way to help medicines reach the brain, which will support future treatments for neurological conditions.
ET-CRYOCHAIN is developing and testing ways to make highly precise parts for the Einstein Telescope.
